Welcome!

I STARTED this personal blog to make information about the activities of the Montgomery County ACLU Chapter more widely available, particularly to residents of Montgomery County Maryland.

Postings on this site are the personal responsibility of the author, Mike Mage, and unless otherwise indicated, do NOT reflect the policy or position of the ACLU.

The Montgomery County ACLU Chapter was started in the 1960s, shortly after the founding of the National Capital Area ACLU Affiliate, http://www.aclu-nca.org

Since April 2009, we have been exclusively a part of the Maryland ACLU Affiliate, www.aclu-md.org. The chapter helps represent the roughly 5000 ACLU members in Montgomery County.

We meet on the fourth Wednesday of the Month, but usually do not meet in July, August, or December.
Meetings are at the Cedar Lane Unitarian Universalist Church, at 9601 Cedar Lane in Bethesda, starting at 730pm.
